The inspector guys are not the only ones that run into scarry things in a basement.  This is a lot grosser than anything I have growing in my refrid.-

That's a nice one.  I have seen whole basements like that.  A shame that there are so many homes full of mold

Ron, buddy, friend, pal, send me you addy and I will send you a sample. just kidding

Larry- on the repo-s I usually take an allergy pill a half hour before touring and carry a dust mask just in case.  Unlike Ron, I don't have to use all my five senses, although this did not have a noticeable smell (not that I got very close)

The picture doesn't show how thick that fuzzy stuff is- I am going to surf a bit tonight and see if I can find a write up on something similar (disclaimer, I am not a mold expert, I am not identifying this as mold, I am using the term mold in a generic sense)

The rest of you- what are you doing up so late looking at gross pictures on the web!!-  be good  cw

As this photo loaded, I could feel my chest tightening and I had---to----take-----shor--ter----breaths! WHEW!!!! This stuff scares me worse than bugs or snakes or other creepy crawly stuff!

Marantino- I wasn't scared, but then I run pretty fast for an old gal! (especially around the creepy crawly stuff)   I normally don't do basements unless I know the client is making an offer.  That's a job for the inspector types.  cw

That looks nasty.  I'm guessing this basement needs help.

That's gross!!!!!  Where in the world did you find that!  Did the inspector tell you what type of mold it is?

Kay- it did not get to an inspector, it killed the deal all on its own.  Client made an offer on another property that met his needs.

Kevin, long time no see- FYI, I only get commission on properties that close, this one was a no go from the start- only thing to come out of it was a little eye candy and stories to tell the grand-kids of the time I........

ps, I have been running around like crazy and need to get back to writing about my wonderful industry.
