Occasionally, my husband Gary and I will pick up a personal development book and read it together. The one we're reading right now is the great new book by Wayne Dyer, Excuses Begone.

Truly, this is one of the most inspirational and uplifting books I've read in the past 20 years. I've enjoyed it so much so far that I even went out and bought the 8-CD set and have been driving around hot Phoenix in my lovely air-conditioned car listening to this fantastic information.

If you've ever struggled with procrastination and all the excuses that get in the way of achieving what you truly want and DESERVE in life - and, honestly, who among us hasn't? - then rush to your nearest bookstore and purchase this book TODAY! It will change your life.

Remember, "To think is to create."

Anna:  If you think this book is great... you need to watch Dr Wayne Dyer's current extended presentation on "Excuses Begone" on your local PBS station.  I have watched it... and watched the repeats of it at least three times.  Sometimes it takes that long for things to sink in for me... and Wayne is Great !

Karen - I have and loved it as much as it sounds you did.  Wayne is great.  I remember reading his first book while I was in college "your erroneous zones" made perfect sense to me back then.  I bought the cd's (at costco) and enjoy listening to them in the car.  Perfect focus thoughts!

Anna:  One of my favorite quotes from his shows... is "When you change the way you look at things... the things you look at... change." 

This is not only a psychological quote, but it is also straight out of Quantum Physics.  It is where science and psychology meet.  I have read about this theory extensively... and found it very, very interesting.  Quantum Physics, the Uncertainty Principal, the writings and theory of Carl Jung, and things of that nature.  Quite interesting indeed !

Karen - you and I are so on the same channel.  I grew up with all this stuff and I love it to this day. I'm sure we could talk for hours!  And I love that quote - it is so very true.  Perception.....change your perception and the world changes around you.

I was listening to the section about being a Pollyanna - of which - I am one.  And I'm fine with bringing enthusiasum, positiveness and growth to those around me.  Why not?  I don't have the time or energy for all the doom and gloom. I'm about creating anew. 

My guess is you are too!!
