By
Industry Observer

OK, tomorrow is July 11 (get it… 7-11) and that’s the day the good folks at Dallas based 7-11® celebrate their company's birthday.  It also happens to be Austin REALTOR®, Donna Harris’ birthday.  So, in honor of 7-11’s® 82nd birthday (Donna is younger than that), 7-11® will be giving away free 7.11 oz. Slurpees® at their over 6,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada!

YUM!  What a delicious way to celebrate and beat tomorrow’s anticipated 105 degree heat in Dallas.  7-11® says that they are planning to give away almost 5 million free Slurpees® tomorrow folks, so plan ahead… there may be a line!

You can learn more about 7-11’s® birthday festivities here.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY 7-11® and Donna!

Steve

We no longer have any 7-11 's here. Grew up with them and slurpin' on slurpees. I preferred the cola ones. Geez they were great on 100 degree days! Nice memory.

7-11 is 82?  Wow.  And people will stand in line in 105 degree heat tomorrow to get a FREE SLURPEE?

You should be there handing out fans with your business card.

Steve, Thank you for the shout out. I never miss a free slurpee.  Even celebrated my 21st with one... but I have not seen (or noticed) a 7-11 out here... maybe they're in "the city", but they're not in the 'burbs.

Steve,

Thanks for this information.

A very happy birthday to both Donna, and all 7-11's.  To help with this heat I might stop for a slurpy.

Steve - I think I remember you telling us about Free Slurpees last year... or maybe it was Donna when she mentioned her birthday. Anyway, I never remember until someone here on AR tells me.  Thanks for the reminder. I missed it last year.

John, That was me... I usually blog about it every year, but I forgot about it, and since Steve mentioned it, I didn't put it on my blog too.  I've gone there several times, but didn't see one yesterday.
