Who knew these benefits of celery?

It can reduce high blood pressure

Can be useful in helping painful joints

Can be good for urinary disorders

Celery juice helps with kidney stones

sometimes used medically to treat mild anxiety and agitation

May be useful in cancer prevention

**Organically grown is best because of pesticides used**

Check with your Dr if you have any of the above issues to see if putting celery in your diet regularly can help.  I did a google search of "Celery Benefits" and came up with this list.  You may want to do your own search there was a lot of information to read thru.  I read up on celery being used for many, many years for medical problems.  Of course what we eat today isn't grown in the wild but a very interesting read if you get a few minutes to research all of the articles on line.

Wendy,

To me a little celery goes a long.  Good to read your blog, have not seen much of you lately.

I think all the wise old grandmothers out there knew, but it was just an old wife's tail at the time. Now they have proof! Just like chicken noodle soup for a cold.

I knew about the benefits, but I just don't like the stuff. It's too stringy for me.

Hi Wendy, I see you haven't written in a while...where are you these days?  Twitter?  I hope you are doing well.  Let's have coffee!  Did you see that Laura took over the Q C  listing and got them to reduce it to $249,000!  I tried so hard but they insisted they couldn't.  Oh Well!

I love celery and usually eat it with almond butter as a snack.  I use it in many recipes too.  I didn't realize the benefits...extra bonus!
