This picture made me stop and think how life goes on.  I see the mother ducks every year with a new batch of ducklings.  Is it the same ol' hen or last years chick.  We are just a small part of this world and something as simple as Mama Duck and her chicks makes me realize how lucky I am to enjoy the creation bestowed upon us.

Next year the scene will be about the same.  Old hen or new one...Life goes on!
