This post is the one week followup from our 24 hour posty (http://activerain.com/blogsview/111762/Interesting-Real-Estate-Video)
We will use the same Las Cumbres property video listing in Panama found at http://vidlisting.com/ as a reference. At the one week point, we have 484 video views for this specific property across the narrations for three languages. We will subtract the 212 views that this video had in the first 24 hours. This means that we had an additional 270 views between the end of the first day and the seventh day (average 45 video views per day for the period from day 2 to day 7) . This is again fairly typical performance for our property videos as they age. The breakdown of video views by language for the first seven days is as follows:
- English: 125 video views
- Portuguese: 122 video views
- Spanish: 237 video views
The most important metric is if the property has been sold....the next important metric is how many calls/emails that the agency has received about the property because of the video. Lastly, we use the number of two week video views as an indicator for the level of interest in the property video. We have some things in the works that will likely boost these numbers significantly.
Note: we are also looking for some real estate video beta testers (http://activerain.com/blogsview/114999/Real-Estate-Video-Beta) for some of our public facing technologies. Also, If you are not getting the video views that you would like from your real estate videos, consider giving http://vidlisting.com a try as we begin our expansion into the US market. Our videos have been the catylst for selling a number of properties and we even have US buyers traveling to South America directly as the result of seeing our videos (http://activerain.com/blogsview/114022/Vidlisting-com-Customers-Travel)
See you next week for the two week views...we would love to hear your thoughts in the interim.
