The Magic Tree Bookstore is truly an icon in the Oak Park community. This independent bookstore specializes in children's books and is celebrating its 25^th year anniversary and I say to them congratulation and thank you for your great commitment to the entire Oak Park area.

In addition to selling children storybooks, the Magic Tree also hosts many events throughout the year. Most notable has been the Harry Potter book release party. The 5^th book release party drew so many children and parents that Oak Park Avenue was closed to accommodate the crowds. I am not kidding, but this event drew thousands of people. I could barely believe my eyes!
