Meatloaf has always been one of my favorite meals and I'm always looking for a new way to make it. 
I altered a recipe I found for meatloaf tonight for dinner tonight. It turned out great, my family loved it and we all ate too much!! I thought I'd share this recipe with everyone.
1.5 lbs ground beef
1 tbsp dried basil
1/2 c bread crumbs (I used seasoned italian bread crumbs)
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped mushrooms
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except bbq sauce and place in a 5 x 9 ungreased loaf pan. Pour BBQ sauce over the top. Bake for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes before removing from the pan.
We had it with steamed rice and vegetables. It serves 4.
