It's That Time Again - The West Virginia State Fair Will Soon Be Here

Yes, it is getting close for the West Virginia's Annual State Fair to start.  The Fair employees are working hard to ensure that everyone attending will indeed have a great time.  The Fair starts August 14 and goes to August 22.

This will be the 85th Annual State Fair.  WOW - I am glad to say I wasn't around for the first Fair.  But, I have attended past Fairs and there is so much to do and see for all ages.   

The Fair's celebration of "Farm Fresh Fun", includes carnival rides, food, livestock exhibits, grandstand performances, home arts, gardens and crafts, AND so much more.

Grandstand tickets, gate admission tickets, Mega & Big passes, as well as carnival ride tickets are now available for purchase by visiting the State Fair Ticket Box Office.  The Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 am - 4:30 pm.

The fairgrounds are located in Fairlea, WV, 3 miles South of I-64 at Lewisburg Exit 169.  For more information on tickets and daily schedule of events, call 304-645-1090.

• Free Entertainment
• Free Grandstand Events
• Free Center Stage

Check out the scheduled Grandstand performances.  Some of the performers are STYX, and                     AHHHH the famous American Idol...David Cook, Gary Allan, Darius Rucker, The Temptations, and Kenny Rogers.  You might want to get your tickets early for these sale out performances.
