BEFORE staging this room it felt very small and uninviting.

AFTER STAGING. The furniture actually made the room seemed much larger

BEFORE STAGING This akward shape and location left buyers wondering what the room was...the open floor plan positioned directly next to the family room left the buyer thinking they had no other choice than line up two sofas right next to each in two rooms. The staging helped identify the room and show buyers an arrangement that was pleasing.

Love it when you post your before/after shots Margaret! Stunning as usual! Your staging and photographs are beautiful. What a difference - especially in the family room with the cold feel of the brick fireplace. Your staging softened the room and highlighted the beautiful fireplace as it should be. Great work!

Diane - I should have taken a before shot from the foyer..the liv rm and family rm are right next to each other and when both couches were on the wall it seemed as if they were connected... this arrangement was our solution. Thank you for your comments.

Shelley, I really liked them too..It actually better looking in person. the photgrapher did alot of overlaying on the pictures so the color appears more muted. The chairs are a great steely blue.

Fernado - Hey where've you been? nice to see you posting again. I have several photographers I use pretty regularly...I just can't get the same color quality and sharpness that they can. Now this paticular photographer likes to do overlaying which adds more demention and brings out more detail. I'm not so sure I like it..it pulled out alot of color. In person the greens and blues are much more prominent.

I think Monotone palates can be elegant and very refined, if you know how to manage the tonality. You definately know what it takes to make a monotone palate stand out and thats all that counts!
