Wow - so Tisza has gotten two live client leads from blogging since my last update, which is absolutely fantastic!! I think that is cause for celebration by itself.

Sure, it would be great to actually "win" the Project Blogger competition, but personally, I get much more out of seeing Tisza actively furthering her real estate business via blogging than trying to win the popularity contest. For all you real estate pros blogging out there -- remember to stay focused and write content for your target market.

I think it's fantastic that Tisza has already gained two cllients from her blog. I am thrilled for her and also encouraged by her success. 

But I don't think that winning the competition is a popularity contest. (Tisza is extremely likeable and if it were about that, she'd be placing high anyway - what's not to like about Tisza?)

The ONLY part of the contest where I'd say that was going on is the voting. I have not asked, begged, cajoled or told people "Vote For Me" and it shows in my low score there. Others are not worried and even make it easy by posting a link to the voting on their site....

The next time this contest is done (assuming there will be a next time), it will be better run, but for a first go at this undertaking, I think the folks at AR are doing a pretty good job.

It's not perfect, but it's not a popularity contest.

Hi Mary,

I am reasonably sure that the AR voting is what Drew is referring to regarding the Popularity Contest part.  I agree that next year when they do this again, and I sincerely hope that they do because, if at all possible, I will offer up my services to coach someone like I have been coached, there will be big changes in how some things are done. 

The one thing that everyone has seen pretty much from day one is that this is a great big 'ole learning curve for everyone involved coach, apprentice, judge and sponsor alike.  And that is truly the real beauty of it all. 

The knowledge is there, just waiting for folks to scoop it up and run with it.  And it will be exciting to see how many have and how many do.

Oh, and Drew, thanks for being an AWESOME coach!  I am extremely grateful for everything that you have taught me and continue to share.
