Prince William County Cat Lovers, I need you to look into your hearts and help me find a home for two special boys:  Thomas and Tucker.  Here's their story, and why they need a new home.

Thomas and Tucker were adopted by my cousin Marianne as kittens.  They have always lived with dogs in the house, and have been doing well with Marianne's 18 month old son.  However, with another baby on the way, and a husband that travels extensively for business, Marianne feels overwhelmed.  As much as she hates to do it, she needs to find Thomas and Tucker a new home.

Thomas and Tucker are now six years old and in good health. They are declawed, therefore, indoor only cats.  They are neutered.  And again, they are good with dogs and/or kids.  They are shy at first, but come around fairly quickly.  They don't necessarily like being picked up, but will make lap time on their own terms with their new owner.  Couch lap time is a favorite, according to Marianne.

Thomas is more sedate and Tucker likes to play.  They both love the dogs they live with now, especially Tucker who has a very special relationship with one of the family dogs.  Thomas is the larger of the two cats.

Thomas and Tucker are litter mates and have always been together.  It is Marianne's wish they be adopted together.  If you can't take them, maybe you know someone who can.  They would make a great addition to someone's home.

Get in touch with me if you know someone who may be interested.

Chris Ann:  Thomas and Tucker are just adorable.  I'd love to see a video of them playing around... both with each other, and with the dogs.  I surely hope you can find an adoptive family that can take both of them together.

Still looking around, you know I would take them if I had the room, but that would make 8 boys and 1 girl + the huge dog.  My daughter is asking her coworkers today and I'll let you know if anyone steps up.

Hello Chris Ann,

It's ashame your cousin has to give them up after 6 years.  Thomas & Tucker are both beautiful cats.  I hope you & your cousin will be able  to find a wonderful home that will take them both, so that they can stay together.  They will be more traumatized if they are separated.  Good luck in keeping them together.  Please keep us updated!

Rita

Rita:  Will do.  It's never easy adopting out any cat that is not a kitten, but Thomas and Tucker do make a good looking, well behaved pair.
