Hi Carla ~ I think ZipCar is a super invention! At least one agent in my office uses it. I know if I wasn't in real estate I would definitely sell my car and go by ZipCar and public transportation.

Hi Carla - Neat idea, I checked out the website, not available in our area but then not surprised :). When I clicked on various cities where it was available, it seems that the lowest rate is $7 an hr or $60 a day for a weekday with higher rates on the week-end.

Hi Judi . . . some of the ZipCar plus features -- which might contribute to their pricing -- is that it's convenient. You don't have to go to the rental car place, return the car, have all the paperwork. It really is a matter of getting your ZIPCard . . . and then zoom out of there! And the ZipCars have desginated parking / drop off areas. So for someone who doesn't want to arrange for a pick up / drop off at the car rental agency, it really is a time saver!
