Looking for a great privacy tree to plant along your boarder.  Look no farther then the Leyland Cypress.  Leylands are the most popular privacy tree in the U.S.A. They grow very fast and thicken to create a solid wall. Its feathery texture is soft to the touch and is stays green all year-round, giving you complete privacy.

Growing up to 4 to 4 feet per year your boarder will be in place in no time.  Even without trimming, your Leyland Cypress trees will grow in a uniform, symmetrical shape that gives you a dense, living wall.  Fast growers, adaptable to a variety of soils and conditions, even sandy and clay how much easier can it be?

When planting you want to space your Leylands 6 ft. apart for a privacy hedge or further apart for a spacious property border.

This plant likes water and is relativity hearty.  We have some that we planted 5 years ago and now they are 20 feet tall and about 10 feet wide.  This year we began noticing the leaves were turning orange.  We began trimming those branches off, placing our clippers in soapy water after each cut to avoid the spread of any kind of insect or disease that might be present..  It worked for awhile, but it looks as if something is killing our trees.  Called a tree specialist and in no time the problem was identified and we've scheduled a spraying and fertilizing routine to save my beautiful trees.

Calling a professional is always the best answer whether it is trees or buying or selling a house.  I knew the basics of tree care, but when it got tough....the tough go to the professionals. Contact us for your real estate needs in the Great Nashville, TN area, and put the pros to work for you.
