One of the best things about vacationing on Panama City Beach, Florida is Capt. Anderson's Restaurant.

And one of the best things at Capt. Anderson's is the Dessert Tray!

By far, the two favorite desserts seem to be Feud Cake and Key Lime Pie! For years these recipes were kept as a family secret. Now they are published in the Capt. Anderson's Cookbook that you can order on their website.

On one post I wrote about Capt. Anderson's, several people have commented that they LOVE these desserts. Many have asked that I post these recipes. I am trilled to be able to do that for you right now straight from the cookbook!

Hi, Missy! I do know you love the beach and Capt Andersons... just wish there was some way to get you down here. Maybe a beach wedding is in someone's future... or at least a beach honeymoon (but I guess you probably wouldn't be going on the honeymoon with them now would ya!) ... think about that beach wedding!! I have the perfect beach wedding photographer and know a wonderful minister who performs beach weddings all the time! Let me know what it would take and I've got it covered!

My mouth is watering and I may have to try the Famous feud cake recipe..I love pecans! :) Is there a story behind the name of the cake?

Midori, You are so smart! Yes, I think there is a story and I will have to post it. I need to check my facts and then I will share it! Thanks for asking. Sometime you might get to come to the Northwest part of FL and we could have dinner at Capt Andersons! That would be so cool!!
