Hi Ann, I have said this before on your post, but whenever I see this wonderful old buildings, I am just amazed by the craftmanship and beauty.  I miss that in all the new contruction, it's more about cost and less about art these days.  This building reminds me of the Cathedral in Denver.

Ann we have a few beautiful old Italian Catholic Churches here in Middletown.  A couple of them were even built from a rock quarry in the next town over from us.

Hi Ann, Love this gorgeous church.  Wow, incredible architecture!  This is a beautiful church.  How old is it? Old buildings like this one hold so much history, it's almost as if you can hear the walls talking.

Ann:  the church above is just absolutely beautiful.  It is a shame that so many of the older, architecturally gorgeous Catholic churches in many of the bog cities are being closed due to the cost of overhead, and of declining membership.  Very sad.

Magnificent church, Ann! I love historical buildings - like everyone else here, I appreciate the craftmanship, and can you imagine the time it took?
