Surf's Up!

Summer is in full swing and the Hurley US Open of Surfing has hit Orange County! 

From July 18th to the 26th, around 500,000 people will hang out in the sand to watch their favorite surfers from around the globe compete at the Huntington Beach Pier. Even more, this marks the 50 year anniversary of the open!

Both men and women compete in this competition for prize money and glory as the winner. There is also a junior competition for those semi-pros under 20. There will be surfing event by the world's 10 best surfers, voted by fans. After hitting the waves you can catch these surfers signing autographs on Main St.

Besides the surf competition you can find concerts, a fashion show competition, BMX riders, Skateboarders, and numerous demonstrations, vendors, and booths. For more information, go to www.usopenofsurfing.com
