Well it finally happened, did you hear that sound in the distance that rumbled, came closer and closer?

 Yipee! THUNDER....

Did you see that? Yes it was a strange liquid falling from the sky. something like "Rain Drops Falling on My Head".

We finally received about 1/2 inch of rain yesterday. It thundered around again this afternoon but didn't quite make it to our house.

However, it didn't keep the folks from tubing the Guadalupe.

One thing you can do at Canyon Lake, Gruene, and New Braunfels, Texas is have a great time tubing and visiting with friends.

    Howdy there Carl and Ceil

Sure am glad to hear, y'all got some much needed rain. Even if it was just a 1/2 inch. Now maybe even more rain clouds, can fallow the trail to y'all. And then poor Ceil  can stop dancen for a bit.

Hi, Carl!  I've been getting weather reports from Judi about the heat and no rain.  Same here in O'Fallon, though we got a cool break two days ago.  I'm glad you finally got rained on.  :)

Marchel - If we should get an ample amount I'll move it your way.

Donna - I've noticed recently everyone runs outside everytime you hear a loud noise hoping it is thunder.

Leolinda - I like the smell of rain, wish I could smell some more right now. It's clouding up again.

Patricia - We don't realize how precious moisture is until you don't have any.

Dale - I just did a blog showing how small the acorns are that are already beginning to fall. Too small and too early to be falling. I thought it was dirt on the sidewalk and when I picked them up noticed they were acorns.

Yolanda - thank you for coming by. Glad to hear you and Ms. Judi keep in touch. I guess we all need to be praying for each other. Dale is the one getting all the rain. He may have to put it in tanker trucks and bring us some water. Take care.

Yolanda, we are still hopeful the rains will come soon.

Russell - You need to come on back to Texas for a little R&R and tube the Guadalupe.
