Fellowes mini power inverterA nice tool to carry with you in the car.

Not having normal electrical plugs in my Landcruiser (I think there is one in the back) I purchased (some time ago) the Fellowes Mini Power Adapter. Which I found here for 19.95 and on eBay for 16.95 + shipping. You put it in your cigaretter lighter/ power slot and it gives you a spot to plug in your AC powered stuff. This works great and eliminates the need for those pesky auto adapters that all the companies want to overcharge you for.

I've had transferees make use of it for their Laptops and cell phones.. I used it for my old tablet, my cell phone, camera, portable printer etc...

I also took it to Italy for use in our rental car because it eliminated the need for a converter part of the time.

Who's got the juice?

WOW! that's nice. I have one that's about the size of a book! I'll have to swap it out for this compact version!

Cool! My laptop battery is not the most reliable, so that would be a great thing to have. Plus on trips, the kids could plug in a small tv or something.

Awesome find, and thanks for sharing it with us.  I am forever trying to get my cell phone adapter to work in my car.....the wires on the adapter are loose or something because I have to keep fiddling around with it to get the little green light to come on.

Now, I can buy this little gadget and power up all kinds of things!  Thanks again for sharing this!!
