I marinated some chicken breast in straight Hot Frank's Sauce with Chile and Lime and threw them on the grill with some corn on the cob.  I love it when my mouth burns after the meal is over.  And, then I made the most delicious strawberry-rhubarb crumble with a fantastic topping that has pecans, topped with ice cream.  Life is good.  Summer is fantastic, even if it is a bit chilly for Minnesota.  The weekend was great.

I had clients I can work with at my opens.  Two closings this week.  I AM SO GRATEFUL.

Wishing all of you the best of mid-summer delights, blessings and good times.

Hi Suzanne,  Sounds like you really have it all together.  Reading about your strawberry rhubarb recipe reminded me of my moms' strawberry rhubarb pie !  Great memories.

You really had a satisfying week Suzanne from your post.  Congrats!  The chicken sounds really good, SO what's for dinner tomorrow night and what time should I be there!

Take care and enjoy your summer!

Bill, I was going to make the pie, but I make the from scratch pie dough, and I just couldn't find the time this afternoon.  But that is yummy, too. We'll have to compare recipes.

Cindy, tomorrow night is ribs marinating in mustard and dark beer.  One of my favorites from Sara Moulton, with twice-baked potates.  (Baked them with the cobbler, crumble tonight.  Reheat tomorrow night with all the sinful stuff in them. But, once a week, you can splurge.  Monday seems like a good excuse!_

Rich,  when I can get around to it I will send them to you.....and the recipe.....

Thanks, guys!!!!

My wife is really big into the hot sauce, I just can't do it. The stuff she has I use to clean the rust off of tools.
