7 Comments on The Paradigm Shift...
Great article! I have you be honest here. My brokerage has used the word 'paradigm' for quite some time in relation to the shift of the real estate standard when the foreclosure wave hit the market. So I'm guilty...
Thanks for the share!
Rene' .... I love this word too. The first time I heard it I laughed as we were in a meeting when managers wanted to present us with a new philisophical strategy and paradigm was utilized. I don't recall what the point was but I fell in love with the word as my mind read it 'pair a dig em'. I found the intellectual approach to sell the idea to staff hilarious. Hence, I never look at the word seriously.
Hi! I appreciated your blog this day. The active rain community allows me to learn and think outside my little part of the world. Haven't used the word myself -- NOW I am glad!
Ashley: We're all guilty... part of being in our time. I too thought Fulford's article was a great little history... thanks.
Linda: Me too... I love mystery in a word. Until I read this I held it so differently. I'm laughing with the world and at myself...
Debra: Thanks... we're all in our 'little part' of the world, no matter where that is... I'm still going to finish my article, and I will probably use the word... yet, I have a new awareness, and I am glad we got to share it... thanks...
Love the article. I wasn't familiar with Robert Fulford. Now I must read more of his stuff.
Brother, can you PARA DIGM? :-)
Ah, but it sounds so ... snooty. Thanks for the fun read.
Cheryl: Finding Robert Fulford again was really fun.
Jim: thanks... I'd say more sarcastic?
