Dallas Event: American Idols Live Tour 2009!

Did the Kris Allen and Adam Lambert finale to the 2009 season of American Idol leave you wanting more?  A rematch maybe?  Do you still think that Allison Iraheta should have been in the top 2 finalists?  Want to relive the excitement of the season with these talented young performers?

On July 23, at Dallas' American Airlines Center in Victory Park, they will all be back... Live and in-person!  Tickets range from $40.50 to $69.50.  More information is available here.

Be sure not to miss what may be your last chance to see this season's top eight finalists  appear on stage together!

Evenin' Steve,

They are coming here to nearby Hamilton next month.  We bought my mother in law tickets for her 75th birthday.  She and my father in law went last year also.  Now I'm thinking maybe I should have bought tickets also.  May go and check if there are still any available.

Steve:  I must say that I have almost no interest whatsoever in watching American Idol.  I don't know why, but it just never caught my fancy.  I think the only time I found anything similar of interest was when Susan Boyle came on the scene of Britan's Got Talent... or whatever it was.

Never watch American Idol; however often wonder if it helped launch any careers.  If they are playing AAC I guess my question has been answered.

Hi Jenny... I have never been to one of the live shows when they have come in the past, but I love the show and have heard they are quite fun!

Hi Karen Anne... I think that thanks to YouTube, the whole Susan Boyle phenomenon captured the world's attention.

Hi Richard... I think it has launched several careers in popular music.  And Jennifer Hudson, who won an Oscar for her performance in the movie Dreamgirls, was a finalist on American Idol a few years ago.

I will be out of town and have to say that I dont know anything about the names you mentioned in your post. So many people are 'American Idol Crazy'. I have not watched American Idol is at least 3 years. I enjoy the music from the winners after the fact but don't need to hear it three times a week or how ever often its on. Im sure it will be a good turnout though. Can you tell me when "America's Got Talent" comes to Dallas... now that I'll go see. :-)

my hubby just informed me he may be able to get some tix for the show.... it'll be short notice but I'm going if he gets them. I'll let you know if I do. I wanna see Adam and Allison!
