Miss Mollie T... My Guard Cat and Protector

There are times when a girl just needs to get some sleep. Mollie T, shown below, is my "guard cat." All night long Miss Mollie patrols our home... chasing away the elephants and alligators, and all the other forms of wildlife and other agents of evil who might choose to do us harm.

But... there are times when a girl just has to get some rest. I guess you could say that I, Miss Mollie T's "cat-mother"... work the day shift, and Mollie T works the night shift. So, of course, Miss Mollie needs to get her rest during the day... in order to re-gather her strength for the next night... so she can continue her quest to protect our house and home from all of the inherent evils of society. I don't know what I would do without Miss Mollie T.

Good thing you have Miss Mollie to keep those elephants from tromping through your bedroom!

I can tell Ms Molly T has your back- and you've got hers. What would we do without our pets?

Was that "agents of evil" or "evil agents" lol???? Miss Mollie T. looks very content.

Karen Anne, I have reluctantly locked my kitties - and the Labraddoodle - out of my bedroom! Mummy needs sleep!

Gorgeous. She needs her beauty sleep after all that work.

That's it. My dog passed away two years ago this September. I'm allergic to cat's, but I'm going to go get a puppy...

Thanks Karen. Next time my husband calls Gabby lazy and no good cat, I'll explain it to him that she has to sleep during the day so she can protect us while we are sleeping.

Tinka fully understands the responsibilities of being a watch cat. But she prefers to sun herself on the deck to recharge for her nightly rounds. :)

Hi Karen ~ She's a pumpkin! Champ is definitely my guard cat. He naps while I'm gone or at my side at night.

Well Karen Anne she has quite an eye and definately a cutie. Hope all is well with you and you are enjoying summer. I have been spending too much time on facebook these days. I am surprised I have not see you there?

Pam: Yes, I have noticed your absence. I do not do the Facebook thingie, or the My Space thingie. Just no interest there for me. I do not have need for hundreds of "friends..." just a few good ones.
