Looking for something to do or a road trip to take this coming weekend?  How about visiting beautiful & historic Collingwood for their annual and huge Elvis Festival

This is always a fun filled weekend jam packed with lots of excitement, things to do and of course lots of Elvis faces and costumes!  Check it out: http://www.collingwoodelvisfestival.com/

Collingwood knows how to host a party and all begins on Thursday July 23rd with an evening performance by "Champion", followed by a karaoke pub crawl!

The festivies continue on Friday July 24th with a fantastic street party, tributes will be held and again this year the Midway is schedule to be in full motion.

You won't want to miss the Saturday fun that includes a pancake breakfast, classic car parade, 5 live performances and a Memory Lane Street dance

But don't leave Collingwood yet because Sunday July 26th will close it all out with a sunrise Gospel Service, another pancake breakfast, vendor alley, Grand Finals 2009 performance and the Last Hurrah Midway

Elvis will not leave the building until every partier has said goodbye!

Don't forget to bring your singing voice & blue suede shoes!

Hi Andrea!  Thanks for visiting.  Our Broker is a real "KISS" fan and did himself up beautifully.  But think Elvis is in everyone's heart!  Goodn to see you and hope you had fun at your Village Fair Days or is it still ahead?

Now there's a festival that I will NOT be attending. If they make it a piano festival, I'd consider going. If they make it a Beatles Festival, I'll be dragged along by my marketing guru.

Al and Peggy - You mean it's not an Elvis Stojko festival but an Elvis Presley festival.  Will Elvis be there skating away to Elvis music?  After all, he was raised not too far away (about an hour or so drive).

Very soon, I expect to see Michael Jackson festivals.

Thanks for plugging our town Al and Peggy.  Yes, it IS jammed and there are people here from all over the world having loads of fun.  It's always exciting and, tremendous for our local economy.  Collingwood is known as one of the best events communities in Canada.  next up - Wakestock.

One thing that I hope never happens is people having Michael Jackson festivals. He might have been the King of Pop, but he had other issues that bother me. Of course, Elvis died of a drug overdose, and my favorites, The Beatles, did some of their best work while a little spaced out, but Jackson's infatuation with children disturbs me greatly, and I don't even have any children.
