If you leave a comment, Jim will visit your blog and comment.I have a totally different taste in movies from my other half, but before he went to his inspection, he was watching a movie titled "Chaos Theory." It looked kind of interesting, so I started it over from where he left it and watched it.

This was an interesting movie with a lot of unexpected twists and turns, more than the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.

I actually started watching it because the main character, Frank Allen (Ryan Reynolds), is an efficiency expert who is totally obsessed with efficiency. Reminded me just ever so slightly of my marketing guru himself -- LOL.

This movie has humor, drama, truth, lies, hope, insight, and an honest look at life, especially when something totally unexpected upsets everything that one previously believed in. I won't tell you how things end, or even the journey to the ending, but it started when the helpful wife, Susan (Emily Mortimer) decides to set the clock forward to help Frank get to a lecture early. After all, the lecture is on efficiency and time management. Unfortunately, she sets the clock back ten minutes instead of forward, and from there, Frank's whole life falls apart due to a bunch of random events.

If you want a little bit of everything, I can recommend this movie. I thought it had a great plot and very good acting from people with whom I'm not familiar. I'll give it a nine out of ten houses. I would have given it ten houses if I had known any of the actors and actresses. 85 minutes, PG13

Chaos is a way of life around here. I think it started when a friend gave us a housewarming gift of the Chinese symbol for Chaos. I will check out this film it sounds cute.

Thanks Jim, always looking for a good movie.  If Russel decides to blog on the movie, we'll pretend we hadn't heard of it.  Hope you got the movie set back to where Russel left it.

How fun to read your movie review, and I particularly loved the 9 houses!  Why didn't I think of that?!

Hey, Dan - Let me know what you think about the movie did to be rewarded with a vacation.

Hey, Jennifer - I wound up watching it twice. I thought it was that good.

Hey, Joan - It doesn't have to actually be in New Hampshire since you can get it at Netflix.com or Blockbuster.com. We're with Blockbuster.com here.

Hey, Betina - We try not to let things get too chaotic around here but we have so many fingers in so many pies that it does get chaotic at times.

Hey, Al and Peggy - I think I got it back to the same point. At least he never said anything.

Hey, Kathleen Ann - I've never heard of "redboc." I Googled it and came up with redbox, so I presume that's what you mean since it's a DVD rental service.

Hey, Janna - I was going to do diamonds, and then stars, and then.... I came up with houses. I'm justifiably proud of myself - LOL.

Jim,
I'll put it on my list for next week. I'm always looking for a good family movie Mike and I can watch in the living room with the rest of our tribe. Thanks for the tip.
