Is that for real, or a typo? $5000?  Hubs and I paid $9000 for our first home, in the 70s but it was a fixer upper of the serious kind, and all of 1000 square feet...(if that, I don't really remember!)

Yep, it is correct.  the home sold for $5,000.  Unbelievable, huh?
