The colossal planned community on the strip is going forward. Project City Center will reside on the former site of the Boardwalk casino on the Las Vegas strip. It will be located between the Monte Carlo and the Bellagio, connecting both properties.  The entire parcel is 66 acres, making it the largest project on the strip. The mixed use project will boast a 4,000 hotel room luxury hotel and casino,  2,800 condominiums for sale and 2 400 room boutique hotels.

The entire project is expected to cost 7 billion dollars. It is expected to open in late 2009. For more information about CityCenter, feel free to contact me directly at 702-493-8033. -cr

But the Boardwalk was so much fun. Loved that there was a little dive casino on the strip. A group of 6 of us went there a few years ago and played for about 6 hours on $100 each. It was a fun time and about the only place you could find $2 blackjack on the strip.

Yeah, that's progress for you. Personally, I'm not that thrilled with CityCenter. It looks like it will be cool, but its not going to be completed until 2009 according to the press release, but I'm betting late 2010 or even 2011. -Charles

It amazes me how they can keep building and building. Shows how much money they really do make from all those visitors.
