Well said..I am a mortgage consultant and do the same thing..without it I am not very effective..

Good point, it's all about routine and consistency. Even though you may have to leave at a moment's notice to show a house, if you consistently do the basics, you'll be successful.
I second what Brian said. I have a daily ritual and follow it each and everyday. But your right paying customers come first and foremost. I have made so serious adjustments in my business model this year with the internet and hope for results soon.
I think that this is the hardest thing about our business. Without a plan we are ineffective. It is amzaing how quickly a day can slip by without accomplishing the things that really need to be done.
