There has been some debate on how valid real estate videos are on sites such as YouTube, Google Video, etc. I've always uploaded them to about 8 sites because they always come up (within a couple of days) on regular Google searches for top keywords - they also rank usually on page 1 or 2. Sometimes they appear several times.
Google algorythms have changed. Video is now fully integrated into their standard, basic search, where buyers ARE searching. I have seen very recently where on page two of the #1 search term for a particular area, 7 out of 10 (yes, that's correct!) of the search results on page 2 are all my videos and all linked back to the same agent. And that doesn't include two positions on page 1!
More importantly, the new Google now puts a thumbnail of the video on the search results! So it really calls your attention to it!
Video is absolutely the way to go. (real video.... not slideshows that many people like to label as video!) It drives traffic to your site, it's the BEST listing tool (sellers are wowed by it!) and, most importantly, it sells homes.
