How important is prompt follow up! It is very surprising how many agents have an aversion to lead follow-up...perhaps cause of Do Not Call concerns?
It is true that today's consumer is "sue-happy", but if they (the consumer) exhibit an interest in your the agent) product, you have 90 days within which to follow up. Beyond that you have all the rights in the world to contact them as long as you maintain a business relationship and the consumer does not explicitly request a stop to your contact. These stipulations come straight from the Do Not Call legislation.
