I think it would be a great exercise for everyone to write a NEW very first blog article.

If you could start all over again and write your first article, knowing what you know now, that you didn't know then, what would it look like?

Would you write it to buyers of real estate?  Sellers of real estate?  Agents?  Your Mom?  Would it be about real estate, or a restaurant, or why you got into this business or why you stayed in the business?

Would it be informational, educational, fun and frivolous or by way of introduction to you?

What is the single most important piece of info you would want to impart to your readers, if you had it to do all over again?  Would it be a series of posts with the first being PART ONE of Five?

ARDELL,  This is an interesting question.  I guess I'd make it an informational summary about my market area (using good keywords). What's happening in general with the real estate industry as it affects Wenatchee Washington real estate.  Then, follow-up posts would build on that so I become known as the local "expert".  Some posts for buyers.  Some posts for sellers.   No-one really cares to hear how great I am unless somehow that helps them get what they want (which it probably won't)  So sharing my 25 years of accumulated knowledge of the market seems to be the best way to start and build upon.

You're the blogging goddess... you tell me!  Please.  Everyday is a new day and we can start anew.

When Project Blogger is over, I'm going to totally restart my AR blog by pulling in all of the posts as "Members Only".  So stay tuned.  My first ever post will be coming after Inman Connect is over.

Just thinking how hard it is to really pack everything you would want to do in a FIRST post into one article.

I think what you suggested is what I am actually doing. My launch post will be just that, a new beginning, a new fist post. Love it and it will reflect the difference of what I have learned since back 12 weeks ago. Nice idea and great creative post.

I liked my first post... but I think back now and believe it was too technical and could have stood the test of time...so I wish I had started with a lighter subject matter and built up to it!

Ardell-That is really a great idea.   I personally have so many different ideas right now as to what I would do if I had a chance to start all over again.  I didnt even know how to spell BLOG when I first started (and it showed in my posts) but now I have learned so much.  The funny thing though is that some of the members beleive in one thing and think it is important to post about it but other members take offense to that style of blogging.  Oh well, I dont worry about it anymore.  I just be me.  Aloha den to ya!

Ardell...

Let me begin by telling you how wonderful it is to see you posting in the group for new members. Most of the folks in this group are new to blogging. That being the case I know for a fact there is much you can teach them just by being here and posting in the group.

Now...About the post. If I were to start all over I would have immediately began my journey with a party and four more parties to top that one off :)

I'm kidding of course. To be serious about this I will have to think on it some more. I just woke up :)

I'm not very good at posting to groups.  Maybe figure that out will be my goal after Project Blogger.  Surely the people in this group all joined Project Blogger to follow the Coach advices...no?

Nope. They are being encouraged to just stay inside their own little group.

Many of them know nothing about Project Blogger. That is not a good thing.

My hope for them is that they will realize that you and other top bloggers are here on Active Rain.

Who is encouraging them to sit in a little room?  I think it's odd that Maureen McCabe has never once commented on any of my posts.  Don't you :)  Lots of little rooms around here.
