Google does it again with Google Voice

Google does it again, what won't they think up next? Google Voice is not yet generally available, a limited number of invites have been sent out for Beta Users. This product is going to be huge with real estate professionals!I hope that it will be available in Canada as soon as possible, I fear that there will be some forseeable CRCTC regulation that will delay or defer it's implementation.

Wow that's insane! And I thought Skype was cool. I'm going to check that out!

Got my invite and got my number already. . .I love it. Just a waiting a little bit before advertising it to the general public until I'm 100% that number stays with me forever and Google goes forward 100%

I have heard of it but did not know we have to wait for the invite.

Those of you that are already using it, can you please tell us a bit more about it? Is your phone number in your existing Area Code? Are there limits to number of Voice Mails or stored Voice Mails? How long did you wait for the invite after registering? thanks Scott

Scott - I got an invite a couple of days ago. I requested an invite within a day or two of a featured blog posting on ActiveRain, perhaps a month or two ago. Unfortunately, as you know, it is only available in the USA>

Yes Marc I too received my invite and upon entering my password it must have known from my IP that I was North of 49. It did give me the reassuring message that other countries are coming...please come soon!
