You Stink - You're FIRED!!

A few weeks ago my husband/partner and I went on an expired listing appointment. This is what we saw when we pulled up to the house. I guess that pretty much sums up this sellers opinion of her previous agent, don't you think??

We blocked out her phone number for privacy! She sold it by owner the day after we met with her, but we got quite a kick out of the picture. She actually emailed us the photo!

That is too funny!

I can't believe that, I am cracking up. I want to know what happened in that relationship!

Jonathan: We use it in our pre-listing package now... with a tag line that says... The moment you settle for less than you deserve, you get less than you settled for. We just love that picture!!

I laughed out loud. I've heard a bit of that around here but haven't seen something like that - yet!

Mike: You never know, it could've totally been the sellers issue... However, it's still funny!

Around here they will pull your sign out of the ground and you won't be able to find it.

That is pretty funny. Now I am curious how much the home was originally listed for and what it finally sold for. Do you mind if I use the picture? It's a crack up.

I hope that NEVER happens to me....so far so good...in the 10 years as an agent I have NEVER been fired......

That is awesome! Says a lot about the agent and the lack of work they did to sell the property.

UPDATE: Seller emailed me today, her home fell out of escrow. I have an opportunity to present to her once again. Wish me luck!!

That is a sad statement that the listing agent could not sell it and the owners put it escrow on their own. That agent should get her sign out of their as fast as they can.

Sorry to hear they fell out of escrow. Hopefully you will be able to help them.

Thank you Suzanne!! My appointment is Wednesday, so I'll update then!! Maybe I'll post a new photo with MY sign in the yard!!
