The Bluffs is a condominium complex at the west end of Mission Valley in San Diego, California. It is within walking distance of Fashion Valley Mall and directly across the street from the Riverwalk Golf Club, and you can catch the San Diego Trolley at the Fashion Valley Mall for points east and south.
The Bluffs is #11 on the Mission Valley map below. For information on the other complexes in Mission Valley, click on the map to go to my web site and then click on the same map there.
The Bluffs was built in 1972 and has 324 units ranging in size from 432 square feet to 1,130 square feet, and with floor plans from one bedroom and one bathroom to two bedrooms and two bathrooms. To the best of my knowledge, none of the units have in-unit laundry hookups.
HOA fees range from $277 to $302 per month.
Amenities in The Bluffs include a swimming pool, spa, outdoor grills, picnic area, common laundry facilities, a club house, a fitness center, and tennis courts. Landscaping includes water fountains and ponds. The Bluffs has a great location in central San Diego, within minutes of downtown, Old Town, Qualcomm Stadium, and the Mission Valley night life.

Jim, another great spot. The pool and tennis courts work for me! You even solved the only problem I had and that was walking distance to a mall is good, walking home with all those bags, not so much; but viola, the trolley! Excellent slide show presentation.
Jim, I'm really liking the amount of detail you're giving us. The slide show is a really nice touch. 650 sq. ft. for 130,000.00 sounds like a steal ... maybe I can get rid of one of those 7 kids. Sue
Hey, Jim - I certainly hope so. It is kind of fun to put together all these statistics. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when I get to the 600-unit condominium complexes where everything has sold multiple times since 2000. I'll have to generalize a lot more.
Hey, Al and Peggy - I love to walk and ride the Trolley, but not with bags, so I'm with you. I'll often go down to Mission Valley, walk along the San Diego River until I get tired, and then take the Trolley back home. Of course, that allows me to keep track of what's going on in these 39 condominium complexes that I work in, too. There's so much more that goes on than what one can find in the MLS. Hmmm. That sounds like a blog post title.
Hey, Jen - Thanks. I've been trying to do "hyper local posts" like Brad and Bob are touting.
Hey, Sue - Now how could you possibly choose which one you would want to get rid of? LOL But if you send one out here, let us know and we'll provide a tour of the San Diego Zoo, the Wild Animal Park, and maybe more. You can come, too, if you'd like.
