Any website design recommendations?

A few months ago I had a website designed for me. I spent lots of money but am not thrilled with the results. Now, don't get me wrong, this person did a good job but something is missing.

I was reading a blog about a great person who does website design and SEO. I contacted this person and she gave me a few pointers about my website. Since then, I have emailed her several times and have had no responses. Maybe she has a lot to do, I don't know.

So, I would like to hear from anyone who can recommend someone reliable and reasonable who will take an existing real estate website, spruce it up, and get RESULTS!!

Thank you for your help.

email my web guy at anthony.baggett@gmail.com He will answer questions for you and can probably help you instruct your gey on what to put in the site. He is in the process of building me a new site. My current one is just not customizable enough for me.

I would go to the various cities and scope ou the agents that are on the first page of google and look at the various sites to see if you can detect trends. Eric

I use a simple Top Producer Site; It has more to do w/ content and "FINDABILITY" / SEO than anything else. The web site visitors populate into my TP datavbase automatically....ease and USABILITY are what are second

Keith, get some good input here:

I'm trying to work with a guy who doesn't like my concept.  Really frustrating, but I think I have his attention, and I think he has talent.  More to share with you later.

I went with Hobbs/Herder and love it, though it was expensive my results are really starting to show.  Make it personal, provide a reason for the people to contact you, i.e. special reports, evens and expose it on everything.  Feel free to check out www.kellyturbeville.com

Jo-Anne - Thanks for the info. I will certainly check it out and let you know.

Jeff - Thanks for giving me a contact. I need a good one.

Robert - I'll check it out.......thanks!

Eric - I've done just that. Good stuff. Now I need to find the right person for the job. Thanks!

Joan - I will get in touch with Fred. Thanks!

Teri - It did cost a lot of money with much work involved. Just needs to start getting more results. Thanks.

Paul - I debated using Top Producer but I've got the money into my own website now. I still may come back to it. Thanks.

Mike - Do let me know what happens with your guy. Thanks!

Kelly - I've met with a guy from Hobbs & Herder. Good stuff, very expensive but probably worth it. Your site is very nice!

Whatever direction you decide to pursue, it would be helpful to use these tips offered by Brad.

Hi Keith,

I do my own, Integrity Real Estate Services.  I just can't find anyone to do what I want done, so I do it myself.  It is very time consuming at times.  Have you considered a template?

Bobby - I've checked those out, great stuff! Thanks.

Judi - I have considered a template. If this doesn't work out the way that I think it should, I may go to a template. Thanks for the comment.

Keith, when it's all said and done, strongly suggest you weigh your custom site options. While the initial investment is greater, the cost over the long haul is much more cost effective. Be sure you have a user-friendly backdoor editor for page creation and ability to update your site (content-images). Scalabity is critical so your site can grow with your business!

Point2Agent is a great place. However, you have invested time and money on the current site and need to make it work before jumping to a new site.
