To Stage or Not to Stage

In todays Real Estate market there is tough competition among the homes currently on the market. Many people have asked me about staging their homes before they list them to sell. Most houses that are coming on the market need staging. There is so much inventory on the market at this time, the buyers have their choice of homes in their respective price ranges. No-one can see 10 plus houses in a single day. Usually the buyers' realtor will pick between 3 and 6 house to be shown. As a marketing agent, I want my listings to be in those first 3 to 6 houses shown. I need them positioned with price (so they are not the lowest, yet not the higest) I want my listings to be immpeccable. so when the buyer views my listings they are awe-struck and ready to make an offer. There will be no need for the buyers to look further. I have found when I make recemendations to the homeowner, as to what needs to be done the homeowner is taken back and it does not happen. Call a staging company and have a third party look at the house as a buyer would, There also is the opportunity that you may get a higher offer on your home.Hope this is helpful.
