If you're planning on flying into Parowan between August 1st and the middle of September, you may be diverted to Cedar City or another airport. Parowans airport will be closed to resurface the runway. This is a project funded by the FAA and is a good thing for the airport. So if you are flying in, make sure to call ahead to see if the airport will be open or not!
While you're thinking about Parowan, there are some great houses available for sale in the city. If you're looking for that home to stay in while you ski Brian Head, Parowan is a great place to buy!
