Presidio Mirage is a condominium complex at the west end of Mission Valley in San Diego, California. It is within walking distance of Sea World, Fiesta Island, and much of Mission Bay, as well as the University of San Diego, Riverwalk Golf Course, and Fashion Valley Mall. You can catch the San Diego Trolley at the Morena/Linda Vista station a couple of blocks away for points east and south, including Fashion Valley Mall.
Presidio Mirage is #12 on the Mission Valley map below. For information on the other complexes in Mission Valley, click on the map to go to my web site and then click on the same map there.
Presidio Mirage was built in 1989 and has 12 units, all of them with 1,259 square feet, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. To the best of my knowledge, all of the units have in-unit laundry hookups.
HOA fees are $255 per month.
Presidio Mirage does not have a swimming pool, spa, or other amenities, but it does have a great location in central San Diego, within minutes of downtown, Old Town, Qualcomm Stadium, and the Mission Valley night life.
As of July 15, 2009, there were no units for sale in Presidio Mirage. Unit #1 is in pending status at a listing price of $307,000, and Unit #5 closed escrow on June 25, 2009, at $307,000.

Hey, Suesan - Presidio Mirage is one of my favorites because of the size of the units and how they are laid out. Since it's so close to everything, one can do without the HOA maintenance fees for pools, spas, tennis courts, etc., and just go do those things on an as-desired basis.
Hey, Matt - Condo corridor it is. I specifically chose Mission Valley because there were a lot of condos, and since condos are usually less expensive than a comparable house, even when HOA fees are included, I thought it would provide me a better opportunity to get started in real estate since more people can afford a nice condo.
Hey, Andrea - No nice condominium complexes in Connecticut? Where do all the Yale college students live? Oh, wait, they are rich enough to have their own houses. LOL
Hey, Betina - I just wish the inventory was better in Mission Valley. It seems when prices dipped to 10-year lows with interest rates at historic lows, too, properties got snapped up like there was no tomorrow.
