This past week I enjoyed the true value of good Feng Shui when I stayed at a log cabin in the Georgia mountains. After a near disaster of a weekend, the cabin was a breath of fresh air. The mountains were beautiful, the scenery amazing, but the cabin itself was more than just logs and a roof, it was a healing place. I even took advantage of some creative energy to do a bit of watercolors. It says a lot for the Feng Shui of the cabin that I'm sharing this with you. I know I have no artistic talent. However...I do know how to have fun with a cheap art set. Staying at that beautiful cabin in the mountains brought out some fun in me that had long gone missing.
See that guy walking down the path? Bigfoot. Yup...that's him. He likes it there, too.
In Flying Star Feng Shui we divide time into 20 year periods. Currently, we're in the 8th period. The 8 stars rule and allowing that star into the house will cure many of the energetic probems most houses have. The cabin allowed this good energy to enter through the front and flow freely thoughout the house. It was perfect.
Even more special is the fact that the owners rent out their cabin and you can also enjoy it. Check it out:

Just remember to spend as much time as possible out on the screened in back porch...and listen for Bigfoot. He's the one that whoops in the night.
