One year ago today I began here on ACTIVE RAIN. My first post was about a new property(pic below)

Now since then, this property has sold and I have learned and laughed a lot, met some wonderful folks and thoroughly enjoyed all this place has to offer. This place is like no other I have ever come across. It has a wide diversity of folks in different fields. Realtors, stagers, feng shui consultants, inspectors, photographers, virtual assistants and of course the ACTIVE RAIN COMMUNITY BUILDERS and staff.
Active Rain can most definitely increase your internet presence and GOOGLE juice but it does so much more than that. It expands your knowledge of anything related to this business and anything you'd ever need to know. You get to meet folks from all across the U.S. and Canada. YOU get to see them as so much more than typed words on a computer screen. They share their accomplishments and their heart.
Even though this isn't Jan 1, in a way it is a new beginning for me here on ACTIVE RAIN. As many of my regular readers and friends know I had taken a hiatus from regular blogging other than posting my listings. Well recently I started back and have been doing regular posting again. Between work and school I have, and am stretched pretty thin but I missed it here and I missed the people and the cameradarie.
So this second year will be somewhat different than the first. I plan on learning even more, and meeting new folks but also posting on a wide range of topics I really didn't do in the first year. I have a goal for the second year to make this year even better than the first.
SO THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING THIS FIRST YEAR BE SUCH A HAPPY AND WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.
As any of you that have read my posts over this past year know that I have a BIG heart for all furbabies so it is only fitting that I share them on this one year post. I have added to the petting zoo since then. I have 2 more kitties. One of my babies had a baby. I don't have a pic of her to show you yet as her Momma(Frosty) hasn't quite figured out I won't hurt her and stays at a distance and hides in the garage attic and so does her baby who I named Monkey but she is the cutest baby you ever have seen so I will plan on getting a pic as soon as I can.
The only pic I got of her Momma (Frosty) had those flashlight eyes and my readers had a lot of fun with that. I also lost one of those kitties this year, my big boy Jasper. I had also lost Amanda about 4 years previous to that. I rescued 2 dogs(mother and baby) in February who had been tied up with no shelter and little to no food or water. I am happy to report they have both been adopted and are doing well. So it is only fitting on this first year anniversary that I share all of them with you as well as they are MY HEART.
The horses or the BIG GIRLS as I call them. ATTRACTION(Tracky)is the black and wht one and WINDSONG(Winny) is the brown and wht one. They are so precious and have no idea they are horses.
Now I have 2 dogs. Wagdog on the left and Bubby on the right. Wagdog had been severely abused and almost died because the previous owner had put a collar on her as a pup and it never got taken off so it was imbedded in her neck and was cutting off her air so she could hardly breathe. She did survive after they surgically removed the collar and she has come a long ways with love and nurturing. She is a happy, loving and very protective dog.

Now I will have to get pictures of the two babies that stay in the attic over the garage

Now here are the two babies that left for the Rainbow Bridge Jasper in Jan and Amanda 4 yrs ago.
Recently I also celebrated two other anniversaries
10 yrs with RE/MAX(May) and 5 yrs cancer free(June)
