Kevin & Monica - Montana looks like they really have some great sights. I'll have to plan a visit one day.

Thanks Marianne - my daughter took the photo on a recent trip to the National Bison Range. I love this mountain range though, amazing.

Thank you Marti :)

Kevin and Monica,

Very nice scenery and colors. The clouds give it so much depth and power. :)

BEAUTIFUL - Certainly don't have ones like that around here. I had a lay-over in Denver one time. Flying over the mountains was awesome.

Kevin and Monica, are those ski trails carved into the mountainside?

Thanks Steve - my daughter does a nice job with the camera :)

Steve - Denver is beautiful too, we've spent a lot of time in that city.

Kevin - those are actually glaciers, this is located on the Flathead Indian Reservation and is protected from development. There are also some large waterfalls that are sometimes visible.

Great shot! Isn't there a buffalo preserve somewhere in that area? I'd read that the government purchased land there for that purpose in the early 1900's.
