2 Comments on I'm Not The One Who's Going To Be Living Here! And Other Home Buyer Tips from Patti Ann Kasper, Minneapolis St Paul Area Real Estate
I give buyers a wants vs needs checklist to help them choose the perfect home.
Feel free to contact me at anytime if you would like me to send it to you - I believe in paying it forward!
Thanks Christina, I have a similar checklist, but it seems that no matter how well prepared first time home buyers are... When it comes time to sign on the dotted line, some of my clients still get that queezy feeling and wonder if they shouldn't go for a more "prestigious" home even if it doesn't really fit their lifestyle.
I was just trying to say that you should choose a house to be a home where you can live and feel comfortable first and don't fret over what the resale value will be in the future. We have all witnessed the proof of the old saying in the stock market "past performance is no indication of future returns" and this is also true of the real estate market.
No one can predict the future. So choose a home that you will feel comfortable in and don't feel pressured to go overboard on the amenities.
Thanks a bunch for your comment!
