Keaiwa Heiau (an Ancient Hawaiian Temple) is located at the top of Aiea Heights Drive in the Keaiwa (pronounced Kay ah ee va and known as the temple of life) Heiau State Recreation Area. It is believed to be built around the 1600's and where the 'Kahuna' (priest, minister) practiced the art of healing. Sally, Aiea Heights sounds lovely although I'd imagine just about any place in Hawaii would be. Interesting the Bette Midler grew up there (I love these little trivia facts :)
