Hi Jim: Did I ever mention that one of my best friends manages an apartment complex called "Casa Christina"? Sounds like some of these condo projects you blog about are near her!!!
Hey, Betina - For some of these condominium complexes in Mission Valley, I often wonder what happens if they need to do something significant. Many of the condominium complexes have pretty significant reserve funds, but there are a few that don't. I did hear of one a couple of years ago that passed a special assessment fee of $5,000 for all owners of record on a specific date. That could be a big ouch, but fortunately they usually do give at least six months advance notice for those things, but that till means that one has to save over $800 a month for six months only to give it all up on that certain date.
Hey, Jane - But you didn't tell me where Casa Christina is!

Dear Jim,
These look like great condos with an affordable monthly HOA fee. No wonder nobody ever leaves!
