The complex consists of the Chinese classical garden, Korean village, Japanese village, Indian village, Thai village, Pakistani village, Vietnamese village, Persian village, Mid-eastern village, and other countries’ villages. It also includes several museums, including Asian Art museum, History Museum, Beer/Wine museum, Porcelain Art museum, Crafts museum, Garment museum, and Hall of Fame museum. At the center of Asian Village is a Chinese Classical Garden donated by the City of Suzhou, China. A classical Chinese Garden does not try to imitate nature in the manner of many western landscapes. It is a place where the elements of nature and the creations of man are displayed together yin/yan in an idealized setting to create a refuge from daily living and center for cultural gatherings and educational activities.
