| International Real Estate Council of Georgia - Founded in 1999, the International Real Estate Council of Georgia (IRECGA) is a 48,000-eligable GAR member organization of real estate professionals engaged in every aspect of the industry, including residential and commercial sales and leasing, appraisal, property management and counseling. It is the largest individual membership trade association in Georgia, as well as one of the International Council leaders in the United States. |

| What we do |

| The International Council is a service of the Georgia Association of Realtors. Members pay a small amount of dues to belong and may attend informational seminars, educational courses (such as the Certified International Property Specialist designation) and networking events. |

| International Transaction |

| An International transaction as defined by NAR is where any aspect of the transaction has an international component to it, the buyer, the seller, the location of the property or the financing. Buyers or sellers who are US citizens but still heavily influenced by a foreign culture are considered to be "international" as well. |
