Absolutely. There are several reasons to have a pre-listing inspection. Your buyer is going to have a home inspection, why be surprised ? You can address any issues you may overlook before you list your home. If major repairs are needed you can get your own estimates from companies you trust. By disclosing defects, you can take those items off the negotioating table.                 What will my agent say about it ?    Most agents I have talked to are in favor of inspecting your home before you put it on the market. My inspection report is your property, so you can give it to anyone you want. I wwill put the page's of the report in a 3-ring binder that  you can set out with any other marketing materials you may have. This way, any potential buyers can look through your inspection report while they fall in love with your home.
