The market is really hot in Missisauga area atleast.
Its was not the yestereday only when we were in multiple offer situaton. Its been on almost every offer I made on behalf of my client in the last one month !
This time it was a beautiful Freehold Townhouse in central Mississauga and not far away from heartland area. We were above the asking price by $7K with no conditions and still couldn't get thru'.

We have had the same multiple offer situation here in Las Vegas for a few months now. June was a record breaking sales month for Las Vegas.
I did a blog about 14 Offers in 3 Days and the Bank accepted a Cash offer! Las Vegas Home Buying Update a bit ago and since have seen way more offers than that on a few homes.
Makes it a bit harder for first time home buyers because they are competing with a lot of investors right now. But if they hang in there, the right deal comes along just at the right time.
We saw home prices rise last month for the first time in years. I'm expecting them to rise again this month. The bottom appears to have come and gone!
Wish I could report that the Detroit market was as hot as yours right now. I haven't seen a multiple offer situation in at least two years.
Tom, it may be good when you reprents a seller. All the tomes representing the buyer. And always come empty handed !
