It's just as simple as this, right? Now, I dont take listings if they dont stage. Recently, had to decline a Seller because they could not afford to do it. Landlord and tenant = bad situation. My job is to sell, not to collect inventory.

We know it's more than just preparing a home Loreena, the right Realtor is key! Price is always the main factor I believe but condition is also a key player. Good for you for not taking a listing that you know isn't ready for list - I wish more would understand that and how it affects your job.  A house you list is a reflection of your portfolio of homes and I believe any Realtor would want it to sell, not just keep a sign out front for months on end!

Great analogy Karen - I love the pictures! If only more people would realize this connection!

Too funny! I have actually used that analogy. I've asked someone if they would meet a blind date without putting on their make-up or best outfit. The analogy definitely fits! Cute photos.

LOL. Great comparison Karen. You are absolutely right. Everything must look good. Hiring a professional stager is the best way to impress that buyer as they walk into and around the home.

Very cute and right to the point.  I still can't believe people who don't want to stage... it's a no brainer.
