Join in the effort to control the spread of Water Chestnut at Mill Pond, directly impacting the quality of the Oyster Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Canoes, life vest/jackets (limited, so bring what you can), baskets (limited, so bring what you can), lunch and refreshments will be provided. Volunteers MUST BE AT LEAST 18, and should wear shoes and clothing that can get wet (shorts recommended), sunscreen, and insect repellent.

Swimmers can choose to swim a mile, half mile, or quarter mile, with a 50 yard swim along the shoreline for swimmers ages 8-12. TR SANCTUARY AND AUDUBON CENTER. Children ages 4-12 explore the Sanctuary's 15 acre outdoor classroom, traveling the trails and investigating the wildlife, with experienced educators guiding them through hands-on activities.
